SupAir RADICAL 4 Plus Airbag (combo)
Unraveling the Enigma of RADICAL 4 Ethereal and compact, effortlessly mountable and user-friendly, attuned to your motions to grant the aviator unbridled freedom, enabling swifter speeds, loftier altitudes, and extended horizons.
Pioneering the realm of ambulation and soaring, the fourth iteration of the RADICAL continues to hold the mountains and vertical ascents in deep reverence.
RADICAL4 emerges as an ultralight harness strand (weighing 920g for medium size), meticulously tailored for aerial conquests amidst mountainous terrain.
When accompanied by its airbag variant, it metamorphoses into a harness fortified with airbag safeguards, a sanctuary for rescue equipment, and a reversible pack. This augmentation bestows upon it the malleability of a versatile harness, ensuring safety on demand, while maintaining a façade of unpretentiousness.
Its elemental design serves as a vessel for the ethos that birthed it: to retain only the quintessence, thereby amplifying the aeronautical encounter. Its negligible mass doesn't compromise comfort, courtesy of its cushioned dorsal aspect, nor does it undermine maneuverability during aerial pirouettes. The bracing is precise, buffered (the autonomous leg straps, enforced with mylar, counteract the atmospheric turbulence's vagaries), and harmonious (its configuration suppresses inadvertent perturbations).
RADICAL4 confers "a sensation of fluid dominion, of managed coasting," as elucidated by its creator, Yoann Chavanne. This fluidic finesse in manipulation emanates from its capacity to contort itself to conform to the contours of the pilot's physique.
Well-furnished (staff holder, detachable waistband), the RADICAL4 exposes its intricacies in its minutiae. One can apprehend it visually: each utilitarian element, each meticulously finessed feature, every material elected for its aristocracy and durability. The architecture of the Strap and the framework, the subdermal airbag repositioned anteriorly on the harness, and the usage of a resilient fabric for the purpose of crafting the Rush, were meticulously engineered to heighten safety. The rucksack and the harness were envisioned separately, pushing the envelope of both technical and aesthetic resolutions.
Unrestrained liberty, featherlight demeanor, unassuming simplicity; for when naught remains to be subtracted, the quintessential prevails.
For some, the Radical4 Harness alone is a great kiting harness and has room to grow. It's awesome for dune flying, HikeN'Fly, and gentle sledders in the right conditions.
However, if you plan on flying this harness during your training period you must also have the included airbag.
